Should be required reading for high schoolers

I have read a lot of self-help and relationship books, but this one really stands out.
I can't imagine anyone reading and applying the information in this book and NOT having a peaceful, loving, satisfying married life.
It is simple, but not easy, but Gary Chapman practices what he preaches (and sometimes fails, as he relates in his personal anecdotes).
Anyone can have a happy marriage, but both spouses need to agree on the rules, and this is a great guidebook.

Great advice for marriage

Every relationship needs a Christian tune-up and this book was it. It teaches what marriage is in the eyes of God, and helped my husband and I get over the hump. For a couple that needs to have a faith fill recharge twice a year, this was an enormous help. I plan on continueing to add to our library. Sometimes a couple just need to be able to look unselfishly at their lives and marriage using sound biblical teachings and advice.

Outstanding book

If you have ever attended Gary's 4 part lecture series and wanted it in book form, here it is. This is his primary work that goes well beyond the 5 Love Languages (although he does briefly touch on those here). This is primary written for people who are already married. His book, "The Things I wish I Knew Before I Married" is probably better for those who are engaged.
